With the Halo 4 Release date so distant its far to early to speculate on whether or not the Flood will be removed entirely from the game but it would make for a lot of happy fans. We are excited to announce "Halo 4" for Xbox in 2012.
Microsoft concluded its keynote at the E3 conference by announcing that "Halo 4" is in development and will be released sometime in summer or fall of 2012.
Microsoft ran a teaser trailer for the new game, which kicks off a new trilogy in the Halo saga and begins where the previous trilogy left off.
"We left Master Chief in a deep freeze at the end of the last story. Here we get to pick that up again," said Marc Whitten, Microsoft's corporate vice president for Xbox Live, according to USA Today.
